Mynyddygarreg Bridge Replacement


Project Completion

AWilliams have successfully completed works to replace an existing weak bridge with a reinforced concrete bridge.

This new bridge will allow vehicles exceeding 3 tonnes to travel to the village of Mynyddygarreg without having to be diverted around on a longer journey. Reducing time and reducing emissions.

This project has also improved the surrounding environment and increase the capacity of water flow of the river, alleviating flood risk up stream. 

Cubex Development

AWilliams Contract Services Ltd have completed the Cut & Fill phase of the Cubex project in Magor for Marbank, allowing the groundworks element of the package to commence, with excavations of 2 soak away tanks and foundations for the structure.
The S278 works are progressing, with the next phases along Magor Road to follow.
Drainage system

Project Completion - Swansea Uni

Signing off of the Faraday Car Park Improvement project has been received, after AWilliams undertook the highway and carpark reconstruction, drainage, block paving, services trough improvements, resurfacing of entire carpark and access road and road markings to improve the parking facility in the centre of Swansea University.


The Perfect Draft - Update

Good progress being made on The Perfect Draft project for Magor Brewery, where the internal slab is near completion and external works are progressing well.

This unit will be producing products in the near future, with other trades commencing their works within the new structure.
